Candy Funhouse is looking to hire what it calls a «Chief Candy Officer», KTLA reported on Thursday July 21. The company, which claims to be the largest online candy retailer in North America, will pay someone $100,000 a year to approve all the candy in inventory and give them the official «Chief Candy Officer Stamp of Approval.»

Candy company will pay $100,000 a year for an unusual job

According to KTLA, you don’t have to be of legal age to apply for the job. You don’t even have to know your multiplication tables, because the job is open to anyone who is at least five years old and lives in North America. According to Candy Funhouse, the only thing they’re looking for in a candidate is a love of sweets.

In addition to being the candy taste taster, the Candy Manager will help develop the company’s new products. The person who lands the sweet job will undergo extensive palate training and will get a comprehensive dental plan, KTLA added.

Thrillist also reviewed the Candy Funhouse position and reported that it is a new job opening. In turn, they explained that the job responsibilities include choosing what new products should be offered, directing candy board meetings and being the head of taste testing the sweets.
