The three were last seen on Monday, April 7, as they left for Querétaro in a pickup truck after spending the weekend at the beach.
According to family members, the young men maintained constant communication during their stay in Mazatlán and even shared photos on social media indicating everything was going well.
However, things took a turn that Monday evening. Around 7:00 p.m., they notified family members that they were heading home. That was the last known contact with them.
Shortly after taking a detour toward the area known as La Concordia, they stopped answering calls, and the real-time location being shared by one of them with his girlfriend disappeared.
“My sister, Isaías’s mother, had her last contact with him around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, when he told her they were on their way back,” said Juan Carlos Rosey Vargas, the uncle of one of the missing men, in a statement to local media.
Investigation and Search Efforts
The family filed a formal report with the Querétaro State Attorney General’s Office on Tuesday, April 8, after confirming that none of the young men had returned home.
They also requested support from Sinaloa authorities to expand the search operation.
As of now, no confirmed leads have emerged regarding their whereabouts. Friends and family have launched a social media campaign to raise awareness and request any information that may lead to their location.
