Tragedy inside a hot car as baby dies
EMS were already on the scene attempting to save the baby’s life, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation determined that the baby had been left alone in her father’s car for an extended period.
This led to her death.
It has not been determined how long the baby was in the vehicle.
Monday’s high temperatures reached 90 degrees Fahrenheit across much of the tri-state area.
This means it would only take minutes for the temperature inside the car to rise and cause medical complications.
