New fire in Ventura aggravates crisis in Southern California
New Ventura fire known as "Auto Fire" threatens to spread due to strong winds, adding to other blazes in California

The fire, known as Auto, started at 21:25 on Monday and scorched 22 hectares within a few hours, Cal Fire reported.
Although firefighters managed to halt its advance, authorities are working to increase containment.

The cause of the fire is under investigation,» communicated the public office of Ventura County on X.
Fires in Los Angeles: Thousands Evacuated and Alert for Strong Winds
This incident adds to two other active fires in Los Angeles County: Palisades, with 17% containment, and Eaton, contained at 35%.
A total of 88,000 residents remain under evacuation orders due to the fires in Los Angeles, according to Sheriff Robert Luna.
Southern California faces strong Santa Ana winds, whose intensity will increase on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service warned that the extreme fire danger will continue until Wednesday afternoon.
Since January 7, the fires in Los Angeles have left 24 dead and more than 16,100 hectares burned.
