In its most recent episode, it tells the story of the funeral of little Ana Dalay, the daughter of the singer from Monterrey and Sergio Andrade.

Before diving into this story, Raquenel Portillo (her real name) talks about that terrible moment.

It was November 13, 1999, and scandal was at its peak. The name ‘Trevi – Andrade clan’ was on everyone’s lips.

«There’s nothing more to be done. Anita is dead»

Amid the chaos in their apartment in Brazil, Sergio Andrade said there was nothing more to be done —  Ana Dalay was dead.

In this episode of her podcast, Mary Boquitas reveals that the producer and Gloria Trevi stayed alone with their daughter. They asked the other girls to leave.

«At that point, the other moms had already taken their babies out to the living room, where they all hugged and cried in fear.»

Then Sergio left and asked what should be done in a case like this. Mary told him they should pray, have a wake for the little girl, and pray for her soul.

«Virgencita, I entrust her to you»

After Mary finished her prayer, Gloria Trevi said some words that she would never forget: «Virgencita, I entrust her to you.»

Then the singer fell to the floor again and screamed. She covered her mouth to avoid making a scene. Andrade didn’t want the neighbors to hear.

Mary Boquitas accompanied Gloria to another room, and they lay down hugging. She didn’t know what to say to comfort her.

«I won’t let her go for fear that she’ll hurt herself or do something crazy,» she said… but there was even more to come.

Ana Dalay didn’t seem sick

In another part of this touching story, Mary states that she doesn’t know for certain what caused the death of little Ana Dalay.

«I only know that just hours before, the baby was healthy and happy and showed no signs of any illness,» the singer said.

Next, Mary Boquitas wanted to clarify that the Ana Dalay’s death was not intentional, but she believes she knows what might have caused it.

«It was the lifestyle that Sergio imposed on us regarding the babies, with no visits to the pediatrician or the freedom to care for them.»

«I want her to receive a Christian burial»

After a «night of terror,» for obvious reasons, Gloria Trevi told Mary that she wanted her daughter to have a Christian burial.

At that very moment, Sergio entered the room and assured her that they would, of course, do that.

As the godmother, Mary Boquitas wanted to take care of the situation, but the producer denied her and said that Liliana Regueiro would handle it.

In the kitchen, Mary couldn’t hold back any longer and began to pour out her feelings. She questioned why God allowed Ana Dalay to die.

The girls took Ana Dalay away with them

To conclude her story, Mary Boquitas stated that it was the girls, as per Sergio’s orders, who took Ana Dalay from the apartment.

«I assumed they were heading to a church or wherever it was appropriate, but they never informed me about what happened, and I still don’t know.»

What she knows is that the morning after the tragedy, the baby was no longer in the apartment.

The following morning, Andrade asked that the topic not be discussed any further. He didn’t want to hurt Gloria. The baby was never buried.
