Advance Social Security payments in November due to the calendar
This advance payment is due to the calendar, as December 1 falls on a Sunday.
Additionally, some people who receive both SSI and Social Security could get up to three payments in November.
The first SSI payment will be on November 1, while the second will arrive on November 29.
The Social Security payment will also be advanced to November 1 because the 3rd falls on a Sunday.
Social Security payments for those who do not receive SSI will follow the regular schedule.
This schedule sets payments for the second, third, or fourth Wednesday of the month, depending on the recipient’s birthdate.

The maximum amount an eligible individual can receive through SSI in 2024 is $943.
