After his transfer, Abraham Oseguera will be presented before the Fiscalía Especializada en Materia de Delincuencia Organizada (FEMDO).

The authorities of the Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana provided physical details of Don Rodo, describing him as a man with light skin, dark hair and an approximate height of 1.70 meters.

At the time of his capture, he was wearing a long-sleeved red, white and blue checkered shirt with blue jeans and black boots.

El Heraldo de México points out that this is not Abraham Oseguera’s first brush with the law.

International media have reported that he was previously arrested in San Francisco, along with his brother El Mencho, for selling drugs to undercover DEA agents.

After serving a 10-year sentence for drug trafficking, he returned to Mexico and again became involved in criminal activities related to the CJNG.

It has not yet been clarified what his role was in El Mencho’s organization.

It is presumed that it was linked to drug production and trafficking strategies directed towards the United States, the main objective of the CJNG in its criminal operations.

The arrest of Abraham Oseguera Cervantes adds to the series of blows that the Mexican authorities have dealt to the CJNG recently.

Authorities also arrested his brother Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, known as ‘Tony Montana,’ who was presumed to be the logistical manager of the criminal organization.

The panorama of the Oseguera Cervantes family within the CJNG remains an enigma.

In addition to Abraham and Antonio, it is believed other brothers named Juan, Miguel and Marín, are involved.

According to El Heraldo de México, Don Rodo has a history of organized crime and drug trafficking.

In the 1990s, authorities arrested him in San Francisco, California for drug trafficking.

The arrest of Abraham Oseguera Cervantes represents significant progress in the efforts of the authorities to dismantle the criminal structures of the CJNG.

It is one of the most powerful and dangerous organizations in the drug trafficking scene in Mexico and the world.
