Zamorano reportedly has addresses in Houston and the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. The Commissioner of the National Migration Institute, Francisco Garduño, reported this morning in a press conference that cameras captured the truck driver when he passed through a Border Patrol checkpoint in Encinal, Texas.

He also detailed during President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s press conference that the trailer had cloned license plates from the Betancourt Trucking and Harvesting company, registered in Álamo, Texas. The owner of that company has already distanced himself from the case, according to Agencia Reforma.

Authorities found a house in Bexar County, that was linked to the traffickers, where they arrested the other two men for possession of firearms while in the United States illegally. According to the media, Zamorano could appear in court Wednesday.
