A woman identified as Dianna Parra, 28, was arrested for allegedly hitting her domestic partner with a beer bottle causing him to start bleeding, according to authorities cited by the Laredo Morning Times.

Dianna Parra was arrested on December 20 after being accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (F/2), according to the Laredo Morning Times. The paper also reported that, according to the complaint, a Laredo police officer was sent to the house located in the 400 block of Albany Drive in Laredo, Texas.

The moment Dianna Parra lost her temper 

An officer indicated that, upon arriving at the residence, he found a man bleeding from a head wound. He also observed that there were broken beer bottles in the front and back yards. Right away, the man testified that his common-law spouse, Dianna Parra, who fled the scene, had assaulted him with a beer bottle after a night of drinking, the records detailed.

The complainant added that Dianna Parra arrived at his home and the two argued over friends whom he had been with earlier. He said that the woman attacked him with her fists before he managed to push her away. Then, in the backyard, he was hit multiple times in the head with a beer bottle until it shattered, court records said.

The victim decided not to press charges against Dianna Parra

Dianna Parra allegedly left the scene after seeing blood gushing from her partner’s head. After the incident he stated that he wished to press charges against her. However, police said he later changed his mind and signed a form to withdraw the complaint.

The Laredo Police Department spoke with Dianna Parra later and she claimed she did not recall breaking a beer bottle on her partner’s head. She allegedly said that he was partying with another woman and that she only remembered an argument that led to some shoving.
